The Standards Authority conducted three consultation events with key stakeholders during June 2018. The first of these events was a Consumer representative forum to canvas a wide range of views around the consultation process for its standards framework primarily focused on the code of ethics, education pathways.
The other two events were workshops, the first focussed on the Provisional Relevant Provider work and training requirement (Professional Year) canvasing input on key parameters and how they may be operationalised, the workshop had input from various Licensee stakeholders. The second workshop focussed on the core body of knowledge for the Accreditation of Programs and Providers with input from a broad range of stakeholders representing Licensees, Associations and Education Providers.
The Standards Authority will be holding further forums to ensure stakeholder feedback is incorporated in all finalised standards.
